Our Butchery 101 class returns this January with just 6 spots remaining.
This hands-on, small-group class is designed for home cooks, hunters, and anyone curious about where their food comes from — and how to work with it confidently.
Led by our Head Butcher, Matt Leyes, at our butcher shop in downtown Oliver. Learn in a small group setting (4-8 people) for personalized instruction.
What you’ll do:
- Break down a whole chicken and take it home
- Help butcher a side of pork and take home a share
- Learn essential techniques, cut identification, and knife skills
- Gain practical knowledge you’ll use again and again
